Jan Black

Jan’s journey with guided imagery began 30 years ago when, as working as a counselor, she had a chronic pain client, whose fear of increasing pain kept him trapped in a non-productive life. She spontaneously asked him in a session if he would like to try something different and then used a guided imagery, which empowered him to let go of fear and eventually lead to a productive life. Then, after developing adult onset cystic acne herself, she turned to developing a guided imagery for acne in hopes it would benefit her own recovery. To her delighted surprise, it sped the healing process leaving her with no scars.

In the intervening years, Jan has increased her repertoire of guided imagery to assist individuals with preparation and healing from surgery, general well-being, anxiety, chronic pain, stress management, worry, healthy anger, and many other areas. The guiding passion in her work has always been focused on “partnering with the individual in a way that is healing and empowering”.

In addition to her work with guided imagery, Jan spent many years as a counselor assisting her clients in healing trauma and enhancing life experience. For several years now she has turned her passion to spiritual healing, life coaching, and nature photography.

Paul Fischer

Paul has had 3 passions in life: working with others for healing, composing, and playing music. He has been a musician (keyboards, guitar, drums) for over 30 years and a composer for over 20. He was a counselor for over 20 years and has focused on spiritual healing and life coaching for the past 5 years.

Paul explains, “My 2 passions are participating in transformations within others and composing music. I love working with others. There is nothing in the world like it. Watching others embrace their magnificence and to see them recognize their worth and value is immensely spiritually rewarding”.

Paul has composed the background music for Jan’s guided imagery for several years. Other types of music Paul composes reflect his full creative range: new age, country, contemporary, and rock ‘n roll.
